Coaches dont use the rating systems -
the rating systems use coaches. Fans use the ratings systems.
BTW, you argument against the NE players getting watched is ridiculous. Syracuse, BC, Rutgers, UConn, Ohio State, ND, etc are all North East schools and all have an interest in players from that area. It is beyond a reasonable expectation to think that the state right next to NYC does not get recruited or ranked by the services.
