I don't think the replay shows any helmet contact whatsoever (all pads)--but
I think the refs had good reason to take a closer look. I have no problem with that. It was a high, hard--shoulder-to-shoulder--hit, in which the heads were relatively close to the impact point. At real speed, those can be hard to call sometimes even if you have a decent angle, I'd imagine.

The pads definitely popped! It had to have sounded pretty suspicious.
