Are you actually watching the play?
I don't know how you are seeing the same thing I am seeing. The ball comes in high, hard, and behind...the sheer momentum of the pass forces the ball further behind his head.

I don't know what kind of workout program you do, but I can assure you that most of us humans using chest, triceps and biceps have a lot more power than someone using only triceps. The ball ended up behind Juergens head. I still think Leslie...and maybe Matthews MIGHT have had the tricep strength to not lose that ball. Might.

But if the ball is led, we aren't having this discussion.

Jurguens biggest mistake was being too good and actually catching that ball rather than letting it go through his hands like most receivers would have. No good deed goes unpunished...and his good deed certainly is. He'd have been much better served to let the ball go through his hands like JSwag at Virginia last year. In this case, it would have dropped harmlessly.

But he made the mistake that contributes to his whipping boy status. He actually snagged that ball at a dead sprint behind his head. I guess that makes him fair game for the vitriol.

Now his mistake in not getting out of bounds...pretty fair game...but I'm guessing he knows that by now and it's likely not necessary that it be rehashed. But to fault him for that interception...that's just silly. I absolutely guarantee you every professional in the business would be pointing at the throw...and the very good play by the DB. If you are assigning percentages...I'd go 60% bad throw. 30% great defensive play. 10% Juergens doesn't have superhuman strength.
