Fair enough, but understand that many want more than "above .500"
As I stated earlier, I think a good portion of CB wants at least one of those 3 criteria that I mentioned earlier.
Perhaps that is unrealistic, but LaVell set that standard, and Bronco seemed to be continuing that standard as recently as 2009...but it seems like the wheels fell off when BYU went independent...perhaps because there is no conference championship to play for.
There is still opportunity for a 10 win season this year (which would likely come with a ranking)...but it seems pretty unlikely at this point.
