Let me tell you why Dave Rose gets a pass
He wins.

More than any basketball coach at BYU. Ever. Well, unless you include CT Teetzel, who was 22-6 in his career.

Rose's win percentage is .76 - he is 207-65 at BYU.

The legendary Stan Watts's win % was .59.

"Well Rose benefited from having Jimmer for 4 years," I often here on CB. This is true.

And Frank Arnold had Ainge for 4 years.

And his winning % was also .59.

Rose could improve his team D, and needs to take the next step in the tourney by making noise a couple of years in a row, with a deep run one (or more) of those years.

I think this will happen in the next 5 years.
