On the player development issue it is much easier to make the NFL than NBA

The NFL has about 1,700 players. The NBA has about 450 players. So the NBA has about 26 percent of the job openings that the NFL offers. We don't get a lot of incredible talent with a possible NBA future that consider coming to BYU. There aren't many Jabari Parkers out there. (And when they come around and don't want to serve missions you can't blame Rose when they don't sign with BYU). Anyway, that is just one part of your argument that is flawed.
