I know plenty of Mormon dads who work very long hours so that mom doesn't have to work and can be home with the kids. Right or wrong, it is a common decision for Mormon dads to be workaholics because they (and their wives) see it as Dad fulfilling his divine role within the family.

I don't know many Mormon dads out there who would really consider their job to be 5th place on their priority list. I'll bet if they did they wouldn't be employed very long.
