Your coach is not someone you should have to overcome to be successful.......
Bronco has reached his ceiling. So it is either going to take a monumental effort by players to overcome his penchant for screwing things up administratively or otherwise, for BYU to succeed. He should be lifting the program higher than it is right now. The four game losing streak is unacceptable based on the talent and experience this BYU team has. The coaches have failed to prepare the players, play the correct players and failed to this point to do anything about it. It has actually gotten worse game to game.

An anectdotal example is Arizona State. They lose Kelly and Bercovici steps in. I know, I know....Bercovici is great, but the rest of the team didn't fall apart around him. Utah State is another example. Chuckie goes down and Gerritsen steps in and they keep moving forward and finding ways to win. Where is the resilience with BYU? Where is the fight? Where is the coming together? I just don't see it. They look lost and dispassionate. I feel like I am in some crazy time warp and we are reliving the 2002-204 season in the last four games.

If people can live with his inconsistency as a head coach and are willing to give him another ten years to learn on the job and maybe never learn what he needs to learn....so be it, you can expect the same middling to good results moving forward. I have said this before and I will say it again. I have seen this program be good under his leadership....I want to see great. I just don't think he can get there.
