For example, I think there's a difference between an 8-5 team that seems to be trending downward and not a lot of potential for growth, not using all available practice time, not seeming to have any fight, recruiting seemingly on a downward trend, and an 8-5 team that is upward trending, that you at think has the tools in place have the potential to be better, that your confident that at least they're doing everything that can be done, focusing enough on football, starting the best talent, creating an environment where old time greats could still feel comfortable at BYU.
