This was awhile ago, but my last year at BYU
I was paying for an apartment in Provo over $900.00 for 4 people to live in a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment. This was back in 2001. I moved from that apartment to a house in Salt Lake City and was paying $950 for a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house.
When I was in Utah county and not paying for approved housing, I paid $650 for a basement apartment (with everything included) that was 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, in 2007. In 2009, I moved to a 2 bedroom - 1 bathroom apartment and paid $695.00 per month. The next place I lived was a 3 bedroom - 2 bathroom townhouse in Salt Lake County that was $950.
By far the most rundown place that I lived in was the places I lived in Provo. It also cost more or close to the same as much better places.
