Collections for landlords is generally a waste of time. It will not result in monies for the landlord. Landlords do it to "screw with their credit", or in other words, they do it to ensure that somewhere on their credit report is a warning to the next landlord to think twice before they even think about renting to this loser (or if they do, they might consider requiring a deposit 300% greater than normal).
