Very true; however, it's a waste of time
trying to get the nattering nabobs of negativism that inhabit CB to grasp the significance of injuries--and not just one or two. Williams played injured for several games prior to his season ending injury. Brown has been banged up, Leslie hobbled, and several freshman pressed into service.

BYU simply doesn't have the depth to immediately plug in players; indeed, not many teams could suffer the injuries to key players in the volume that BYU has endured and not lose to teams they otherwise should have beaten.

There are things I am not happy with and changes I would like to see. To ignore injuries, however, and pretend that BYU can simply plug in players is to ignore reality.

Prediction: BYU will win its last two games and the naysayers will talk about what a crummy team Cal is, how the bowl opponent was a nobody; that everyone should stop attending games, not buy season tickets, withhold donations; and, they will continue to carp about next year's schedule with the road opponents not being home games.

As a legacy donor, I'll continue to contribute and buy season tickets.
