Since 1999, here are Sagarin's strength of schedule ranks for BYU. Sagarin didn't have rankings prior to that from what I could find. In the last 16 years, we only had 3 years that had lower quality schedules than this year.

Your statement that we have tougher schedules now than in the MWC is blatantly false.

As you can see from these rankings below, in the past 16 years, our best schedules came while we were still in the MWC. The other item of note is, under Bronco, since 2005, our average strenght of schedule rank has been 65.5. Under Crowton/Lavell from 1999 - 2004, the average rank was 48.3. I couldn't find the data to go back prior to 1999, but at least since 1999, Bronco has played with easier schedules.
