what Shimmy said. I was just merely trying to point out what i understood you said, in this thread, and I was doing that because you said you didn't understand what Shimmy was saying, which I thought was pretty clear.

For the record, yes I think the "firesides are bad because they kill competitive nature" is an asinine opinion. Because, to me, thats like saying any LDS athlete (or any other religious athlete for that matter) is at a competitive disadvantage for attending church meetings prior to playing in games.

Here, we are off on a tangential matter because there was some confusion about what you offered as support of your opinion (which I believe was as I stated in my post directly above this one).
