These are my observations of your observations:

1). If you read enough of the posts on CB that are critical of Howell they mention his H.S. coaching failures as a part of the issue but I've yet to read a post that says this is his only issue that disqualifies him. The bulk of the posts I've read include a lack of D-1 coaching resume, the promotion of an inexperienced Howell follows an ongoing pattern of failed coordinator hires by Bronco that hurts the program, failings on the field vs mediocre to very bad offenses, etc.

2). Football is 3rd >>>>> Football is 5th. I think most fans would be tickled with that.

3). I hope you're not inferring that since you might have been a fan longer than some means you're entitled to an opinion and they're not or that your opinion is more qualified and more correct.

4). Ok. Not sure who the "we" is you're referring to, "we" as fans or BYU football in general.

5). I've never attended an away game for football but I have for men's and women's basketball along with having attended many in Provo and didn't see a difference, both were equally enjoyable fan experiences. Maybe your POV causes some bias.

6). I've attended basketball games at the Huntsman and never had anyone pour beer on me, threaten me etc.

7). "some of you need a life. BYU football is not the end all where with all"...Interesting that you're now testing the waters in this pool. Does that indicate you no longer have a life? Or does it mean only others need to get a life but it's okay for you to post what you want here?

8). Do you take your own advice? If you're unhappy with things on CB related to BYU football you have similar options that you have espoused for everyone else. You can stop reading/posting on CB, stop following BYU football, etc etc, you have control over that. The only conclusion I have is that it appears you like telling other people how they should think and live but it doesn't apply to you.
