Geographic arguments against BYU are bunk
I have no real idea what actual travel costs they would incur coming to BYU, but look at it this way: there seem to be three main geographic arguments against BYU:

1) WV needs a travel partner.
2) BYU needs a travel partner.
3) BYU is too far away.

Here's why these arguments are bunk:

1) The Big XII would probably be adding 2 teams. WV only needs 1 travel partner.
2) A travel partner for BYU would be nice, but BYU would do without in a heartbeat. We don't have one now, after all.
3) BYU may be far away in terms of miles, but there's an airport in Provo. Travel time and difficulty is less for getting to BYU than for many current Big XII schools.
