Argument number 1-- BYU coaches are not trying, don't even know who the top recruits are in their own back yard while everyone else does. That is why BYU doesn't get the type of players necessary to beat top 25 schools and win bowl games against 6th place Pac-12 teams or Memphis. (I definitely do NOT agree with this argument).

Argument number 2-- BYU does not get the type of talent that it needs to beat top 25 schools and win bowl games and it is very frustrating as a fan. (this argument I understand and see some validity in it.)
