Not really. And I feel the same way about Airsoft and paintball guns, as long

as proper safety attire is used. You can make the same argument about knives, bows and arrows, throwing pine cones to simulate grenades . . . etc. In the end, I think if you teach a kid, he/she will surprise you with his/her ability to comprehend and use logic.
