turned the rivalry hateful is laughable. Where were you in the 90's? I can tell you where I was, I was in my early 20's watching very similar antics from Utah fans as in this video at RES. The rivalry turned ugly when the Utes actually started winning under McBride. The Utes tried to take down the BYU goalposts one year after winning at LES. Fights broke out at LES in the stands. Games at RES were as bad as anything I have ever seen during the 34-31 era. I watched a BYU father of 5 get his nose broken at RES for telling a drunk in the parking lot to quit using the F word in front of his kids. But yeah, urban's 2 years with those urinal cakes really ruined it.
