tolerable for 2-3 months but long term it would suck.

i would live in SOUTH chandler...near the south 202 loop and hop on the 87 then the 10E to get to tucson...that would be about an hour depending on traffic.

when working in a north tucson office it was faster for me to take 60E to 79 to 77 through florence to get there. still wouldn't recommend it...though since you have to work in gilbert 1-2 times a week you might as well live in "the valley" and commute south.

check out homes near Hamilton high school (they were the up and coming school when i left...not sure if that still holds true) but i'm talking way south like chandler blvd or queen creek or riggs road south.
