I'm not a particular fan of the Trib. But Jay is the best BYU reporter

I don't like the way the Trib approaches articles about the Church, and some of their columnists are sensationalists. But Jay is not only a good guy, he's a really good reporter.

He doesn't go out and pick a fight (like Monson), but he's also not looking at everything with blue goggles (like some of the guys at the Deseret News).

Maybe I'm biased because I know him and like him, but I'd rather read his reports than anything from the Deseret News.
