That's the problem with addressing the Internet in general

It doesn't matter if you're talking about Twitter, user comments, or message boards. None of them are truly representative of what the average fan thinks. The average fan isn't passionate enough to be vocal.

That's why reader comments are all so polarizing. You have to care enough to respond. Same thing with Twitter, etc.
