It's one of the drawbacks of the genre. The best ones do, but not all of them do.

I'm not really sure what sources he would use in this type of column. The team/Tom Holmoe, etc., aren't likely to care enough to comment about what fans on message boards say.

So short of quoting CB posts or listing tweets (I guess that's a possibility), I'm not sure really what he could have quoted.
