Likewise, if a defender in or around the key has a well-established position,
he has the right to jump vertically in an attempt to block the shot. If, while maintaining said vertical position and the offensive player jumps into him, then it is deemed a no-call. Right now, a foul on the defender is almost always the outcome.
If the defender arrives slightly before or later, then it's a foul on the defender.
