OK, I checked myself. Since BYU's last win over Utah in 2009, Utah has lost

every game following the win over BYU. That's a loss in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. You definitely can argue that BYU was a better team than at least some of those teams that Utah would immediately lose to. That's why no one here believes that BYU played the best game against Utah. I believe it's actually that Utah plays their best game and plays their hardest against BYU, and that isn't easy to recover from in time for the next game. BYU treats it... like any other game. UGH.
