I agree that there aren't any other examples that are similar

(assuming that West really did admit to what the police report says he admitted to). But BYU continues to stand by him even after he has told them his side what happened (I assume he's told BYU his side). If BYU is comfortable not cutting him off after he told them his side, then I don't see how the indictment from the grand jury has changed anything.
