So you agree with the rules that support your position (i.e. the definition of a
P5 conference), but not the rules the don't support your position (i.e. BYU is now defined as P5)?
We can agree to disagree, but since the same people who define what makes a P5 conference have defined BYU as being P5, you can argue all you want about BYU not being P5, but in the actual world of college athletics they are. Thankfully, it is their opinion that really matters for BYU's future prospects.
From a completely objective view, and with blue-goggles off, I would rather be BYU right now than Boise St, even with their former bowl games/wins. It's the future that matters.
BYU just needs to win.
