I have always viewed the opportunity to have an LDS Impact greater outside of Utah/byu than within. Living in Utah for the last few years confirmed this.

If Danny white had chosen to be an LDS ambassador while QBing for the Dallas Cowboys he could have done so and it wouldn't have mattered where he went to college. He was pretty low key though so it wasn't a big talking point.
