More importantly any BYU recruit will see that their stipend is $1000 more
Than Utah and won't care why he would have an extra grand in his pocket. He just knows that he will. That's probably what matters in the world of COA. I'm not saying that there aren't many other considerations in the final choice, just he knows it is a better financial offer.
