If they're expecting to be a top 10 team every year, they're idiots.
Last time USC didn't finish in the top 10: 2014
Last time Alabama didn't finish in the top 10: 2007, very impressive but less than 10 years ago and they finished unranked.
Last time Ohio State didn't finish in the top 10: 2013
Last time FSU didn't finish in the top 10: 2011
So yeah, top 10 every year, even though Alabama is on an impressive run, will not happen to anyone nor should it be expected by any fan of any school.
