The larger the area's population, the more people will see the games vs. existing Big 12 members and be willing to make a visit. Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas are more likely to land a Florida recruit if their teams are seen beating up UCF on a regular basis. The prized recruit living in the UCF footprint all of a sudden starts considering Big 12 schools rather than just the ACC and SEC.
