First, this rumor originated with the Big East courting of BYU. BYU basically blew them off and to save face the BE started saying that BYU was high maintenance. Turns out, BYU was absolutely correct to not jump on that sinking ship.

That narrative has since been transferred to the fictional B12 negotiations, a myth that CB holds onto with a death grip unrivaled in the history of the world.

There were no negotiations between BYU and the B12. Holmoe has said there were no negotiations. Neinas has said there were no negotiations.

BYU presented its "resume" and that was it.

Neinas said Sunday play wasn't a problem. He also said BYUTV never even came up.
