I guess that's a matter of opinion, but I haven't met a former Stanford athlete

that really liked the singles ward out there. Granted I haven't met everyone out there, but the dating and environment is definitely not ideal for an LDS kid looking for friendships or dating with other LDS kids. Especially when you compare it to the Provo/Orem scene.
