(which athletes may or may not be), outside of BYU it's slim pickings. Stanford happens to be one of the universities where the LDS kids are extremely capable and ambitious. I have to be careful what I say here... but this isn't generally the case at a lot of the other singles wards. So maybe these type of kids at the Stanford singles ward wouldn't be interested in the student-athlete type? Or maybe the other way around. But there just might be a difference in perspective on who likes and doesn't like the ward.
