I'm sure it's a thrill, but I'm with you... There's no glory in it. It's like
A franchise owner trying to hang out socially with players. You can do it because you have money. So your kind of cool by association but not really because those players wouldn't hang out with you unless they had to. You are actually old and not very cool and people are just pretending. When you go on a hunt where its basically a set up you are not like a Don Juan getting ladies by your own merit and skill... You are hugh Hefner where you get it because you pay for it. It's like prostitution. Just something pathetic about it to me. I would view it totally differently if he went with his buddies with completely legal permits in a completely legal area and took a no name lion down with a bow and arrow and left some money for some townspeople. But that's not what happened allegedly. What happened seemed brazen. Of course hunters will defend anything that has a gun. I'm for reasonable hunting and the second amendment but man some people are too defensive about their guns. It gets weird with some people. Nearly as exhausting as liberals. Can I be a republican but think the gun people are a little nuts? Man. I'm nearly convinced guns have never hurt anyone ever with these peoples reasoning and rhetoric.
