Who says they aren't?
You have to believe that Tom Holmoe knows from a geographical and demographical fit the PAC 12 is a better fit all the way around. The question really boils down to whether Larry Scott's strategic vision for the conference has a "Super Power" conference contingency plan to add two or four more teams.

The likelihood both Texas and OU leave for the PAC 12 is slim in my opinion. Neither wants to be just another team in a big conference. They both enjoy the control they have in the Big 12 (to a lesser extent OU).

Either way, I just want in. Big 12 or PAC 12 it doesn't matter to me. BYU is wasting away and is not benefiting from the association with a conference right now. They indy experiment is over.
