Quite a stretch. Remember, you cannot compare WAC wins to PAC wins.

The 84 Cougs and 08 Utes would have lost some games playing a PAC schedule. Every good season a WAC or MWC team has ever had, would include a couple more losses had they played a PAC schedule. Nothing, other than blue goggles, points to BYU outperforming Utah in the PAC. And Utah has been middle of the PAC.
