I believe Blackmon's speed has been greatly exaggerated.

I've watched him practice, scrimmage, and play in live games enough times now to feel comfortable saying that. I really don't think he has the sub 4.5 speed that he claims to have. I really don't think he's much (if any) faster than Kurtz, and he looks slower/less quick to me than Dye.

I'd be very pleasantly surprised if he made anything resembling a significant contribution this year.
