There is absolutely no way you can determine his 100 meter time based off of one play running on grass in a football game. First of all, running on grass and on a track are two different animals completely. Players often run slower or faster than their 100 meter times would indicate. Secondly, we don't know if Blackmon was at top speed. He apparently had a bad hammy most of last season. Even if 100% healthy, we don't know if he was waiting to get to top speed or if he just wasn't in top sprinting shape. Finally, running in a straight line is much different than running at angles. I can't get behind a conclusion about his 100 meter time even if you've seen him practice a few times on grass.
