Heavens no!
They don't wear cups. Those will do more damage in football than anything.
I was a running back for 8 years of football. first year I wore a cup, I got hit in the junk about 4 times in a game. all just because of normal contact in tackles, etc.
Finally, I took the cup out....never got "hit" there again (save in some piles I don't care to remember).
Not a good sport for cups. Now baseball on the other hand....
