How much do missions affect this?
With the added emphasis on missions in the program today, how much does a player taking 2 years off drop their draft stock? Look at it from an NFL team's standpoint. You have two players who are very similar in talent level, but one is 21-22 and the other is 23-24. You know most players in the NFL don't last much past their 30's who are you going to invest in?
I really don't understand why this is so hard for the anti-crowd to understand. That is why you see most BYU players sign free agent deals after the draft.
