Keeo in minf we olayed several offenses ranked i. The 100's
And iirc only THREE passing offenses that were top 40! We lost to all but one...(washingtom state )was not a top 40 passing offense. They simply passed only and put up passing yardage, but did a bad job of it. By all other measures except passing yardage,they were awful. The one which was ranked the lowest passing was USU and we won by 3.
So take literally the middle best defense in the country a d have that defense play the worst offenses in the country and its ranking will not be average, but near the top. Especially give. Two. Fl oass rushers and facing only three teams who are somewhat good at passing....
