We have this type--it doesn't bother me when people in front of me are sitting in these--they don't take up much space; in fact, these take up less space than the ones BYU straps to the benches:


But it drives me crazy sitting behind someone in one of these--they're enormous:


BYU does have size restrictions on the seats that you can bring in, but I don't think they ever enforce it.

It is worse when people bring them into the Marriott Center. All chairs should be banned completely from the MC; there just isn't enough legroom.
