Sorry... I stopped reading right there cause there just isn't much he has done that I would consider to be amazing, unless we are comparing him to current MWC schools... throw in a couple of sun belt schools and yeah, you bet. Amazing is right.

First off... what's the guys record when it comes to our in state rivals? 3-6 vs. Utah. Is responsible for the worst loss to Utah, by points, ever. And his only 3 wins against Utah, 1 came on the last play of the game, 1 came in OT and the other came on the last drive of the game as well. He isn't BEATING Utah, he just won the game... difference between the two. Utah however is flat out beating BYU and Bronco.

Now he is a respectable 6-2 vs Utah State... however he also handed USU their first victory against BYU on our home field, for the first time in almost 30 years. And it was a serious flogging as well.

His recruiting strategy is questionable... there doesn't seem to be much balance to it. Some claim that we lack the talent and are merely just being coached up to win games, but not good enough to make it to the NFL. First off... if we are lacking talent, wouldn't that be on Bronco? Isn't that still his fault? And if we are coaching them up... wouldn't that mean that somehow we are developing their talent well enough where we could place at least 1 or 2 players in the NFL draft? Yeah... neither are happening.

As I said yesterday... he game plans to merely just win the game, he doesn't game plan to beat a team. When a team comes in and wants to beat you, it's a mental advantage where you go into a game and your goal is to soundly beat a team. You put the fear in that team that they are just afraid of seeing your jerseys... that's what Lavell did... teams feared playing BYU. Nobody is afraid of playing BYU right now. We are soft, undisciplined and typically unprepared and get out coached.

Yeah yeah yeah... Bronco has won some games, has been to some bowl games that didn't even exist 20 years ago. Big freaking deal... there nothing to really show for the "amazing" things that Bronco has accomplished. No individual player achievements and awards... no records being broken... rarely finishing in the top 25... can't beat our #1 rival... and typically by the end of the September, the season means just getting to 6 wins and who cares after that.

We need a change... we need a mentality change in the program. Bronco, like Steve Cleveland, did some good things for the program when it was needed and brought it out of a bad situation. Now we need someone to take it to the next level, which won't happen under Bronco.
