The stadium is actually 33 years old, not 50.
LES in its current incarnation was expanded and completely renovated back in 1982. I have no idea how old the previous stadium was.
Maybe that's splitting hairs. I do agree the stadium needs an upgrade and should be renovated again. I wish BYU would enlarge it, though I'm worried that we would be able to fill it on a regular basis.
