He did shoot poorly in the Sweet 16 game.
Freshman KC kept BYU in the game with 15 rebounds, though the negative nellies here only recall a missed FT.
KC led the team in rebounds in each of the last 7 games that year when Rose discovered him as the PF replacement for Davies after a disastrous game vs New Mexico.
That is when i knew KC was destined for greatness.
But i appreciate Jimmer, who played his part to the max to the advantage of BYU, however overhyped.
