Do you live in the SL Valley (I will also accept Davis or Weber County)? If the answer is no, your opinion carries no

water. If you did something similar to a Ute fan friend (I count more Ute fans as friends than BYU fans, FWIW) and I were sitting at the table, I would apologize on the waiters behalf.

Banter is more appropriate among people who are acquainted or are at least in the right context (like a sports game). It's unwelcome out of context and from strangers.
