Reminds me of a story told by Lavell's wife Patti. They were at a restaurant

up in SL County and she overheard one of the waitresses joking with another one about recognizing Lavell, the BYU football coach, and joked that maybe she should spike their food or something like that. When the waitress came them to bring her and Lavell their meals, Patti knowingly asked "are you sure it's safe to eat?", letting the girl know she had overheard them.

I probably garbled it up, but the general story line is accurate and is another insight into the mentality of some Ute fans.
