Usually, we're very good at beating the teams that we should, but we fall short when playing top-tier teams. This season, we're seeing good potential as we beat good teams (Gonzaga, St. Mary's), but we've lost far too many games against weak opponents.
I don't see this as a failure in coaching. I see it as a combination of WCC coaches developing better "beat-BYU" gameplans, and our players not playing at 100% in these "less-interesting" games.
