I think your description there might be favorable to St Marys, but to you guys? You guys as clearly the best "mid-major" recruiter of the last decade. Butler doesn't even approach your haul.

Truth is, BYU's elite recruiting classes the last few years--w few exceptions--are a very new phenomenon. We may have the look of a "major" college in terms of facilities, but we have severe recruiting challenges that you or SMC will never have to deal with. I realize you guys are both very classy & clean institutions which don't project the "big college life" many recruits are yearning for--but you DO NOT have anything remotely approaching BYU's conduct restrictions.

BYU does not have the huge natural edge on you guys as you imagine.
